User Interface/Graphic Designer for Smartphone App

This posting is for phase 1 of the user interface design. The work involved in this phase is converting wireframe mockup into polished, elegant screen renderings. Exceptional quality and on-time delivery of this phase will provide the opportunity to take part in the second phase of the interface design. The timeframe for this work is 4 days. Qualifications: 1) Looking for an experienced, dedicated, graphic developer for an iphone/android app. The backend code for this app is completed and the designer will only be expected to create the front end graphics and interface. Prior CSS and html experience is required. 2) Designer is expected to have excellent communication skills. Frequent progress updates are required. Designer will be required to provide daily email updates and meet online every other day. Because of past difficulties with communications between our project managers and outsourced workers, anytime that a contractor is late or absent for a scheduled meeting without 48 hours prior notice, the project will be terminated immediately. 3) Previous experience creating the user interface for smartphone apps is required. If you do not have a portfolio of prior work, do not apply. However, if you have design experience working with CSS and html and overlaying psd files onto existing code then this project will be extremely simple and straightforward. Wireframes and back end code are already prepared and no backend coding is required from the designer. The Project: THIS POSTING IS FOR PHASE 1 ONLY. No CSS or HTML work is needed in phase 1, but will be required for phase 2 - overlaying psd files onto existing code. Exceptional quality and on-time delivery of this phase will provide the opportunity to take part in the second phase of the interface design - overlaying psd files onto existing code. The app is a sports analytical tool. The app takes data from live sporting events and provides statistical and graphical analytics to the user. Being a sports enthusiast is a plus but it is not required. The work involved in phase 1 will be to take 4 existing wireframes and create polished, elegant screen shots. You will need to combine the constraints of the information on the screen and your creative touches to create 4 images that are engaging and easily readable. If you provide exceptional quality work, meet the communication requirements, and complete the project on-time, you will be invited to the final phase of the graphical interface. The final phase (not part of this posting) will include completing the front end graphics for the app including all icons, bars, backgrounds, fields, etc. to a final state in layered, separated PSD files. The backend coding for the app is complete and mockups for all screens will be provided at the onset of the final phase. If you are skilled in designing a user interface, the successful completion of all phases of this project will be simple and straightforward. The deadline to complete the 4 screenshots is 4 days.
