I started writing a letter to my grandchild for a birthday and then I thought it would be fun to include a poem that rhymed with her age (8 yrs) or her name. I had a bunch of ideas and sentences formed. Then one of my parents died and I went braindead. My inner poet has gone missing. I need this completed asap. The birthday has passed but it will be at least 4 days before I can see her. I'm going to illustrate it so at least it will be partly my creation.
