Swimwear Designer to Sew Prototype

Seeking a talented designer with a background in women's swimwear. At this stage we are looking for a conceptual designer who strongly understands and can implement function of a swimsuit into a working prototype of a bikini top. Designer will start from scratch and final result will be working samples so an experienced sewer with knowledge of working with bathing suit fabric is needed. Designer must be able to share portfolio demonstrating at least 3 years in design or garment development specific to swimwear and demonstrate ingenuity in functional design. Designer must be located in or capable of traveling to New York City to meet in person.
