Time & activities recording

I have created an excel file to which concurrently several users “Sales Reps” will have access to the excel file via a shared folder to record their activities and fill in several data while reports will be available in a separate sheet in the same excel. There are several Sheets as following: --- Parameters --- All parameters of the excel will be listed in this sheet, i.e. Clients, Client Category, Client ID, Services, Users, etc. Upon adding any additional data as mentioned above in the “Parameters” sheet all the sheets should be able to update their selection input and output. --- Users--- The users are the “Sales Rep” sheets (about 20 Users) and will fill in the below: - “Client” (from drop down menu with ability to enter multiple clients and key in the Clients name to filter the list to a fewer selections to choose) - “Client ID” (this will appear when the "Client" is selected OR when the "Client Number" is selected, then the "Client" name will be filled in automatically - “Service” (from drop down menu with ability to enter multiple "Services") - “Duration” time (from drop down with ability to enter time duration in 5 minutes intervals or hours) - “Comments” is free text The time line dates should be able to extend for periods of one year There will be 50 entries of activities per day Each Sales Rep. will be able to VIEW only his/her sheet with password protection Each Sales Rep. will be able to EDIT only his/her sheet with password protection --- Central Reports --- In this separate sheet all parameters (clients, Services, Sales, Reps, etc.) will be listed for selection via drop down list and produce reports as following: 1st Report Input: "Start Date” (manual enter) "End Date” (manual enter) "Sales Rep” (drop down list & able to select multiple entries) "Client” (drop down list & able to select multiple entries) "Service” (drop down list & able to select multiple entries) "Client Category” (drop down list & able to select multiple entries) Output: "Total Time” (minutes)" "Total Time” (hours) 2nd Report Input: "Start Date” (manual enter) "End Date” (manual enter) "Sales Rep” (ALL Sales Reps) "Client” (ALL Clients) "Service” (ALL Services) "Client Category” (ALL Client Categories) Output: "Total Time” (minutes)" "Total Time” (hours) --- I have created the basic excel file example of the above and can send it for assisting you while I would like to have the ability to further expand the excel file so I prefer the usage of excel functions wherever possible. --- Kind regards, Michael
