Hi! I’m Chris, the founder of Grove & Bay, an online clothing startup that is making it easier to buy casual clothes that are made with the planet and people in mind. We’ll be launching our online store in early 2017 and are hard at work getting everything ready. We are looking for a new member of our team who is an expert at online research. Here’s some of what you would be doing: - Find new potential clothing suppliers through online research - Gather information about potential suppliers - Work with our current suppliers to gather the product content we need for our site and social media - Identify fashion content we could repost on social media - Identify bloggers and journalists writing about sustainable fashion - and potentially more! Professional needs: - Amazing written and spoken English - Enjoys research and being a detective - Communicate ideas clearly and concisely - Highly motivated - Detail-oriented - Comfortable doing new things - Able to work 4-24 hours a week Technical needs: - Access to high speed Internet during work hours - you’ll be working with large image files - Ability to participate in video conferences using Skype and Google Hangouts - Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge web browser - Create useful PowerPoint presentations and advanced Excel user Please mention if you have any of the following! - Social media experience - Shopify experience - Fashion experience This is an hourly freelance role that will start immediately.
