I developed a production program for a manufacturing company using VBA. The only information I had was some very sloppy spreadsheets and basic understanding of the process that was used. The program automatically tracks batch numbers and inventory for raw materials as well as finished goods. The operator needs to only click the proper button on menu and the calculation are done automatically. The user interface has ability to adjust recipe size by entering a number and clicking a button (among about 20 other custom interactions). It is very detailed and eliminated hours of data entry and numerous operator errors. The program is being used daily since it was installed last July with no issues to date. I know how frustrating it is to wait on an important project to be complete. The first step I will take is to review the scope of work and make a project outline that lists all the requirements for the completed application. Depending on the bulk of work required and the complexity, I may have to develop a timeline and critical path. If I have concerns about the timeline for any reason I will let you know in advance. An example of an issue that could mess with the timeline would be if you had additional requirements after the commencement of the project that led to functional issues in the app which required re thinking the design or interface. Throughout the project I will be readily available by text, phone or email and will normally respond within minutes. Can't wait!
