Short Research Paper -- 2

I need a short research paper on the history of Mexican immigration to Colorado. The time period of the paper should fall sometime between 1930 and 1980. Students should select one of the themes on the Boulder County Latino History website (i.e. “farm work,” “deportation,” “homemaking/domestic skills”) and utilize the primary resources featured on the site to write a paper on how this particular facet of immigration is part of larger history of U.S-Mexico immigration. What does it tell us about the experience of immigrating to Colorado from Mexico? How does it reflect the historic times in which they migrated and settled? Reflect on the similarities and the differences found in the time period of your paper compared to the present day. Students should analyze two-to-four primary resources from the website. The paper length should be 2-to-3 pages, double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman, Chicago-style footnotes. Please include a title and send as a word document. Due 4/24/21
