Components ( Arduino Nano, Simple Proximity Sensor, Push Button Selector, RGB LEDs with a 9v Power Supply ) The IDEA of this project is to have it mounted behind a piece of artwork. When you walk up to the artwork, within 6 Feet, The Proximity sensor connected to the Arduino Illuminates the RGB LED strip dimly with ONE color. Then, as you step closer to the artwork, the LEDs will slowly transition to a Second Color and illuminate to Full Brightness as they stand 2 feet from the sensor. If you step to the left or right, I want the LEDs to slowly dim out within 3 secs to OFF until someone else walks up to the artwork. Goal Specifics – The Push Button will select between either having the Lights Just ON or selecting The Dimming Function. I would like the Project to be powered with one 9v battery if possible. Lastly, I know some basic coding and once the project is finished - I would like to be shown where to adjust the Two Transitioning Colors and timing settings. Hello. Im designing different electronics devices, mostly based on avr, arm MCUs and boards with them like arduino, stm-discovery etc. (autopromotion^)) Hi. Easy and fast task. As to power - 9V batteries are not good. Will not last long, and brightness will be poor. Best variant - 12V power adapter. If battery - take 3 lithium or AA maybe. There are holders that can hold them. Higher capacity and size - last longer, no magic. Can do this fast and answer questions.

Dear Hiring Manager, I am very interested on this project. I can build the code, but it needs calibration. The sensor needs to be correctly calibrated, so I suggest you to hire university student to help you.
