We are a global healthcare technology management firm that provides biomedical engineering and maintenance services to healthcare providers and medical device manufacturers. Through our international network of independent medical/technical service organizations, we offer asset management services to hospitals, as well as field service support to medical equipment manufacturers. Our organization also provides training in the maintenance and repair of all modalities of diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment. We need someone who is an EXPERT in relational database SETUP building and maintenance. We are embarking upon the construction of a master relational database to control our service operations more efficiently. This database would require tables, such as: Affiliate Organizations Service Technicians - Plus a datalink to all equipment technicians are qualified to service (following table) ALL Classifications, Makes, & Models of Medical, Laboratory, Medical Imaging and Dental Equipment All Healthcare Providers by Type & Geographic Location - Equipment inventory plus datalink to all equipment in hospital inventory (previous table) Affiliate Device Manufacturers Our ultimate objective is to be able to dispatch specifically qualified technicians within the nearest geographic proximity to perform medical equipment installation, repair, calibration or inspection services as needed in support of contracted hospitals and/or medical device manufacturers. Technicians and service organizations will only be matched if there is absolute qualification to support the specific modality, make and model equipment required to be serviced. Relationships with service organizations and independent technicians are on a sub-contract basis. Billing is centrally controlled. For healthcare providers, our asset management program controls the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of all medical equipment used in a hospital or other healthcare facility. Equipment and spare parts inventories, preventative maintenance schedules and procedures, as well as scheduled and unscheduled (repair) maintenance records must be kept. Cost monitoring and reporting are essential. For manufacturers, our service network provides an outsourcing solution for warranty and service contract support. Manufacturers can expand sales to all our territories confidently knowing that qualified and trained technicians and organizations in our service network are available to provide prompt and competent support. As new manufacturers and equipment lines become affiliated with the firm, the scaleable equipment table is amended. As technicians become certified to service new modalities, credentials tables and service areas are altered. Drive-time zones (MapPoint) are used to logistically determine the most efficient allocation of resources. Our training program is designed to: Empower affiliated technicians to become proficient at servicing all medical devices with which the come in contact. Empower affiliated technicians to service the equipment manufactured by firms contracted with us for warranty support. Enable affiliated technicians to obtain professional certification in the maintenance of biomedical, laboratory, medical imaging and dental equipment. Provide an ever-expanding knowledge base for affiliate technicians and organizations, in order to minimize troubleshooting issues and to provide asynchronous, online, tech support. As of now, there are about 35 modules to the training course, we are adding more. In addition, we would like the extranet to provide a platform for: Video teleconferencing Providing customer accounts where affiliate healthcare providers and medical device manufacturers can view profile pages featuring video, image, and text documentation records of service performed by our affiliate technicians and service organizations.
