I ran a registered NGO (Association of Volunteers for Intensive Services to Humanity,- AVISH, Sambalpur, Odisha) of my own for 8 years and besides working on Vocational Training Programs for SHGs, financed by NABARD, I've also worked on Child Rights for one year and have been closely associated with the working and procedures of Child Labor Project sponsored by the Govt of India. During those days, I took initiative to work for " Child Rights & You (CRY), a brain child of Late Rippan Kapur who started CRY with just Rs 50, six friends and a huge amount of dreams and dedication. Besides my ability to write, I have a personal interest to write a report on Child Rights because of my attitude of voluntary services. (I'm a member of the Lions Clubs International for the last 37 years)
