There will be two screen layout,. The application requires to get the data over ethernet and RS-232.
Screen 1
Communication over ethernet:
Our application will be client, which will connect to 5 ethernet server devices(ip addresses are fixed), once connected, it will wait for data to be received, the data is ASCII format string, (separated by ','). for each server, once data received will be displayed. It is very trivial protocol to implement

Communication over RS-232(protocol is DF1)
DF1 is master-slave kind of protocol, in our case our application is master and there is only one slave. there are two types of messages , that are communicated over DF1: 1) When operator presses any key, there is a corresponding address, we need to send a command to write '1' at that address.
2) There are some status registers in the device, which keeps sensing about any wrong doings. As soon as there is some problem, the corresponding register bit is changed to '1'. We need to implement background scanning of these registers, as soon as there is non-zero value of the register, the corresponding bit is found and a Message pop up will occur with corresponding fault.
