We have developed an application which communicates with a Fluke 123 Scope meter. This application interfaces with a .dll, written in VB.NET which handles all of the Serial Communication with the Scope meter. We have one command which we have been unable to integrate into our .dll. We have been successful in reading data from the Scope meter, but our difficulty arises when we need to write a command to the meter, in order to change it's working state - we have not been able to find a working solution for this. We are looking for someone with experience of RS232 communications to develop a .dll file, or engineer our existing code to make it work. Access to a Fluke 123 Scope meter would be desirable, but if not, we can work around this.

Fluke datasheet didn't state anything about RS232 communication and commands. If you could provide a code snippet out of your VB.NET dll, I could look through it.

Hi I'd like to help with this project and am confident that I have the necessary experience to ensure a successful outcome. I have previously written Win32/64 interface dlls for apps communicating with PLCs and other remote devices on RS232 and RS485. This includes one project for a major aerospace engine manufacturer. Also, one of my recent projects involved porting a large number of wind32 dlls to .NET. This mix of experience seems ideally suited to your project. I have only just joined this site as I am now operating independently after 23 years as Technical Director of a small electronics/software company.
