Hello, Though I am not a native British person, but I am a native French person; my Mum is French from Vierzon, in the North East of France. I did all my studies in French, including a Degree in Political and Commercial Sciences. Later I went to the Sultanate of Oman to work as Sales Rep. for Cathay Pacific Airways, and became their sales Manager, for 10 years. I then moved on to work for KLM/Northwest as their Sales Manager for another 15 years. During my profession, English was the Language I used as Oman is an English speaking country when it comes to business. Thank you for providing details of the websites. I see the problem with the translations: they often use direct translations which do not get across the subtlety of the concept. Necessarily these descriptions use few words, and so the words used in any language need to be exact. I currently live in France, and am very familiar with the descriptions used here to sell property and what they really mean. Having bought property in both France and the UK, and indeed having developed properties in the UK for sale, I am cognisant of the need to have a snappy - but accurate - description that will make the right customers click through for the right property. As a solicitor, I am used to writing clear, concise English to get across an idea as simply and precisely as possible.
