I am photographing the Alaska statewide celebration of 100 years of aviation activity in Alaska. My photographs depict the route of the aircraft involved in several flights by antique and WWII type aircraft who flew to remote Alaskan locations to share the history of the state's aviation beginnings. My images are in the air, on the ground, in villages and cities with renown Alaskan aviators and the pilots who make this happen. This is a non-profit activity that is in part sponsored by the Alaska Air Show Association and by generous donations from the villages, towns and cities as well as businesses and individuals.
This project needs to be published in magazines and or websites to promote the centennial and aviation to future generations.
Greetings from Minnesota! I am a passionate, creative writer who enjoys writing on a variety of different subject matters; this expands not only my own knowledge of the subjects I am writing about, but also the different techniques of writing. All projects are well researched and repeatedly checked for mistakes so as to produce the highest quality of work, to be delivered on time.
You need gripping views and crisp imagery in prose to accompany the same in your images. Stories of the people on those flights in the frigid North should lead readers to linger and ponder on pictures presented. Alaska is a wild, remote place, at least in last part. Where most of aviation history was made in the state, most men would fear to tread. As you can see, I understand your project and the kind of excitement that needs to be conveyed. Thank you for your consideration.
