Consulting Invoice generation for employees

1. Problem This section is a prose description of the problem that is to be solved by the system including background and context for the problem and a clear statement of the main problem(s) to overcome. The Eagle consulting company provides software services for clients whomever it may be. Projects are on the contract basis with a strict a budget involved. Which is not to be exceeded at any cost. Employees are paid for the hours they bill for the time utilized for the client projects. Then these hours are entered manually in a spreadsheet. Then these spreadsheets are passed to the accounting department at the end of the billing frequency. Whom again manually calculate each employee’s payment according to their respective rates quoted. After this process, an invoice is generated for each employee. Currently, this invoice is generated manually which is a painstaking process for the accounting department and is also prone to have human errors. 2. Objectives This section is a list of objects that the solution is required to achieve. • Generate an automated invoice of employees for the time utilized for client projects. • Reduce the time it takes to generate the invoice and track all of the data related to the generation process. • Reduce the number of hours lost that are supposed to be billed and also the human errors associated with the process.
