Well, this sounds like fun and serendipitous too. About Me: I've been a CTO for a startup that had very similar requirements with integrating a APIs and managing Rails backends for the edu-commerce space. I also maintain the api for an iOS app, as well. I managed the stack for a Rails based API that started out using ~40 servers for delivering music information. The stack included mongoDB, Postgres, Rails, HAProxy, monitoring etc. They went into cost saving mode, so i helped them pare that down as well. I know my way around Rackspace, Digital Ocean and AWS. Learn something new all the time, so I guess having started with Rails in 2007, that is a good thing. Always learning and stretching and knocking out features and bugs. Rinse and repeat! I'd love to see that detailed document also, and in return I'd love to send you an updated resume that outlines further how my previous experience matches up to your needs. I do have a couple questions about your team and app: How long have you and your team been together? What does the app "do"? (talks to an iOS app and integrates with an API developer tells me it may be industry maybe?) Is the app in production? I do have stack questions but will wait to hear about the detailed document.
