Database 1 = local sql express dbase Database 2 = online sql dbase on web hosting package Both dbase same structure 70 tables in total What we need do is every five minutes= Compare 10 tables from DBase 1 to Dbase 2 and then update changes Compare 60 tables from dbase 2 to dbase 1 and then update changes Tool like opendbdiff I think will work, just need someone to implement to run every 5 minutes and advise what will happen when database grows.

Hello, From your project description it is clear that you need a custom tool or application to compare two databases and update them or put them in sync. I suggest to develop a simple software to track insert/update or delete operations and replicate the same state as you described. I did this kind of solutions once for Firebrid but the logic and idea is the same and can be reused even for MSSQL or MYSQL. I am available to discuss. Thank You, Patrik

Hi, I'm high rated coder from Ukraine. I've more than 12 years in the experiences of the database developing. My skills are includes MS SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MySQL, MS Access, Sybase etc. Also I'm high rated Delphi coder. So my proposition is to develop a service which'll be installed on your local machine (preferly where is your local first MS SQL server installed). I alsready developing similar service to compare DBF files and PostgreSQL database. Because I'm not sure that OpenDBDiff is a perfect solution since I did not see that it supports a command line parameters. Also I think, each table could requires a sepcial logic to compare.
