ANSI X12 837p application modification to achieve HCCO Certification and allow submission of files to 3 specific payers.

Coder will modify existing application written in PHP so that output file generated will pass HCCO EDI Testing requirements and meet the data requirements outlined by each of the payer's companion guides. Currently the application contains most of the data elements and code necessary to generate an 837p file; however, some elements may be missing or the source code may cause the output file to be incorrectly formatted. It will be the coder's responsiblity to identify deficiencies in the system, make the necessary corrections and generate an output file which will be uploaded to the HCCO's EDI Testing center for validation. Successful completion of this project will be determined when the error report contains 0 zero errors and meets the companion guide requirements of the 3 payers included. Note, submitter/provider's information must be modified to allow use of multiple PINs (Provider Identification Numbers) depending on which payer the provider is submitting claims to. The application as it is setup now allows mutliple providers to have accounts whereby their information is included as the submitter element, this will need to be modified so that our business information will be listed under the submitter element and theirs under the pay-to-provider and rendering physcian elements. In other words, all claim files will be submitted under the same id which may be hard coded into the system. The coder must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to beginning work. Once the NDA is signed off on the coder will gain access to our server where they can familiarize themselves with the application/source code and make the necessary changes. The companion guides for each of the payers is included, they are THIN, Illinois Department of Public Aid, and IL Early Intervention Program. All coding must be done in PHP, no third party .dll files or components may be used. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
