I need a custom Toaster/Tray/Popup (or whatever you want to call it) developed. I would like it to be setup so that it can be reusable in several of my apps. I would like a minimal interface where a sql query could be entered for the app to poll on a given interval. If a record is found it would simply pop and provide a link that would open to a page retrieved via the query (or any other html content for that matter). The config area of the app would need to be password protected, and it would also need to be able to be run in a Remote Desktop Environment. I am open to other ways of accomplishing this, but the dbase method seems to me very straightforward and would make the app very re-usable.
