Assistance with Crystal Reports - Early VB bundled version - 4.6

Would like some guidance information in order to re-configure a crystal report to use SQL Server as a data source, instead of Access. A VB 6 program is using the control, with the datafiles and reportfilename properties. It works with Access. The connect string allows an ODBC source to be defined. Have tried that using a system DSN however it indicates that the database can't be opened, after trying action = 1. I've gone into the report designer (version 4.6) and am able to connect to the SQL Server. It appears that there may be a direct linkage in the report fields, to the data source. So I'm looking for the cleanest way to convert these reports from Access data source to SQL Server. Experience with Crystal required and this task required - as I can figure it out from scratch if I have to. Thanks, Bruce
