Develop software which runs in the background on PC's running WIN2K or WINXP (and optionally, if possible WIN98) which tracks and silently logs to a network server when the PC user saves or modifies specific file types on a Novell shared network server. Combine this with C-based software already developed that does this same thing using standard Windows API's, but it is limited to tracking file saves and changes only on the local PC drives - it is unable to do this when files are saved or modified on Novell shared network servers. This software is also limited to working only on WIN2K or WINXP PC's. Will provide C-based software code and documentation to assist in development,Attached please find the C programs, documentation, and other files contained within a zip file. Note that the executable and registry files are named with a ".dat" extension to bypass email virus detection filters. These file names make it obvious which files they are. Also note that we will want brief internal/external documentation on the developed software so that we can maintain it going forward, and full rights to the software developed for us to use in any way we see fit. Since the C programs that will be attached to this message do most of the work all that must be done is to add the functionality to DETECT file changes/modifies on Novell servers. Once these changes are DETECTED, the base C program will do the rest of the work of tracking and reporting the results. This program took one of our most senior developers well less than 1 week to develop
