Capture Window Routine in VB6

Hopefully this will be simple for someone. I am trying to capture the active window when the MySpaceIM window is active. It does not capture this - it only captures what is under the IM window. I have tried different methods. The one I do not want to use is to sendkeys for the PrtScrn button. I want to use API or something else other than sending keys. And it MUST be in VB6. If you have a compiled example to show the active window captured as the active window changes, I will accept yours faster. This should be easy for someone so please do not bid high.
