Design and analysis for my project

Financial project design and detailed specification. I have a problem and I need detailed analisys and detailed specification written. The platform for the project is VB, C++(maybe), VBA, excel, access I have some code already written and most calculations and formulas are to be provided. The main problem is amount of data and speed. Since I am dealing with end of day data with multiple contracts and I know that Excel is slow and at times a memory hog - I need some solutions outside of the realm of excel (plugin code, memory disk cache maybe) The problem in itself is rather simple and as I said above I have code already to leverage from. The main specs should focus on detailed table design inputing(amd processing) price data (multiple up to 40-50 separate issues/contracts) multi entry/exit support and trading rules management. The application will process multiple prices(portfolio) against one set of trade AND money management rule) These rules are to be configurable and easily chageable. The user will have the option of running and re-running simulated trading and (backtesting) in light of money(portfolio) management as well as entry and exit rules based on some indicators. I know what I want and I am rather technical but my forte is not the PC MS world where this system is likely to be implemented. I will work with any innovative ideas in the Windows world and want to award this project to the person to develop as well as design but I must have a detailed design first which shall be in MS word and access schema format. Reminder this is time critical project and the person to be awarded will have to work with me on an ongoing basis. P.S. I have lot of documentation, code and formula already to provide the winnig bid as well as detailed in person information. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional design(s) in MS Word form as well as Access (DB?)
