Hi, I am very familiar with both Yii and WordPress and have integrated the two before. There are several ways to this. The first way you mentioned might be best only if it's a large Yii app. If it's only small Yii app you could embed it directly into a WordPress plugin or custom page template. You could also create a WordPress plugin with the Yii app inside an iframe. It would depend on what the Yii app does I guess. Either way I can integrate your Yii app into WordPress for you. I have 10+ years experience with PHP and have been using Yii since v1.0 and WordPress even longer than that. I am available for work immediately.
