If it is on a Windows box, I can use OpenOffice api to accomplish this. Its straightforward to maintain and consistent output. Other options available as of now are not consistent in output or may require other plugins which are commercial.

Hello Your requirements are not clear enough: 1. In what format will that picture be? 2. What resolution will the picture have? 3. The picture resolution will be standard or have a range of resolutions? 4. What sizes will the .doc files have? 5. On what Operating Sistem must the script run? 6. You want it to be accesible from a website, crontab/scheduler or ...? As soon as you answear thosew questions, you can get a correct bid.
