Cartoweb Arabic system for Egypt

Help with Cartoweb system using Arabic fonts We have a client who intends to use Cartoweb to publish routing maps in Arabic for Egypt, which it means that al data will be displayed in Arabic including the maps. She has had trouble with editing the data in linux because she can't see the correct font in the shell and when she tries to extract the data from a .shp file with the command shp2pgsql she gets all arabic data as ?????????????. She changed the locale to ar_EG hoping to get the right language with the right font but then gets numbers some like \336\330\307\[login to view URL] She is using HostGIS Linux ([login to view URL]) and postgresql with SRID. She has created a sample map a .map file with Amein plugin but wan't able to test on linux because she created the file on windows and it works except the font problem, but when she ported it to linux it doesn't work beucase she think that the PATH'S are wrong. She intends to publish the maps using Cartoweb with Pgdijkstra Routing Module. We need some help resolving these issues. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!
