Hi,
We're developing a site for work collaboration (It's not part of the project). Users will upload/download .dwg files. What want is a preview image of the file content (drawing) to put near the file name to make it easier for the user to find the right file without downloading it.
The project is: an utility to extract the preview image embedded in the .dwg file (if there is one) or, even better, a utility to create such a preview image.
The developer of the site will code it so that it will "pass" the file (after the uploading process) to the utility and the utility will "return" the preview image (preferably .png).
There is a perfect tool for that in the AutoDWG site, but they only work with Windows, no Linux...
Thanks.
