Customized Shopping Cart - Similar to TireRack.com

We are in talks with a local tire/wheel company who sells customized wheels and tires. They are looking to re-design their website and mainly re-design their shopping cart. They would like to mimic the same shopping cart that [login to view URL] has. We'll come up with the design of the site but we need someone to program the functionality of the shopping cart to mimic the way that [login to view URL] allows customers to find, select and purchase their rims and tires. They like how finding the right tire is easy for the customer to find. Either 1.) Enter Vehicle Make and Year or 2.) Select Tires or Wheels and search from their homepage. <pic21.jpg> Another criteria, that the client liked is the ability to select a vehicle and the system already knows the kinds of tires that originally fit on the car. Some vehicles have different size front tires than the rears so the system either already knows this or needs to allow the customer to manually select different sizes when checking out.<pic24.jpg> Once you select your vehicle, the system will give you a summary page of the corresponding tires that fit your car's profile. Give you information about size, overview, specs, warranty information, etc... <pic8.jpg> The system needs to be able to handle many different types of options (sizes, lug pattern, color, finish, etc...) and charge accordingly. The user needs to be able to select different photos and bring up a larger view of each photo. Needs to display the logo of the tire or wheel manufacturer. <pic12.jpg> The user should be able to search wheels by brand, by vehicle or size type. Reference [login to view URL] to see how their search feature works. <pic18.jpg> I would need to make sure that: - Shipping Calculator & Install UPS or FedEX shipping module. - Setup Merchant Account - Account/Order Tracking - Where Have you Heard of Us From Module on Account Sign up Page. - Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Sales Tracking Module - Flash Movie located on Shopping Cart Homepage (we'll create the Flash piece) - Section Header Graphics. The ability to put in graphics above a selected specific category. - Each product needs to have the ability to display multiple pictures (Thumbnails that expand to larger pictures, showing multiple angles, colors, etc...) - Sale pricing, simple inventory control. - And all other standard options that a regular shopping cart would have. I would need to know what program you plan to utilize if bidding on this job. The client is a little hesitant on using OSCommerce or Zen cart since it seems limited on how it handles particular products. Basically there are too many options for OSC or Zen cart to handle them properly. This is NOT your standard shopping cart build (OSCommerce & Zen Cart). We will need someone that is willing to take on a extensive and customized shopping cart build. We would provide the website design and would need to have a veteran programmer to handle all the small modifications and customization that it will take to get the site to work EXACTLY how we need it to.
