A Java program that allows a user to perform 4 functions against entries in an LDAP database: 1 Add 2 Edit 3 Delete 4 View A detailed LDAP schema will be provided. We'd like these 4 functions to be provided by 1 interface: 1 From a command line [Command line] Currently, if a user has to add an entry to LDAP, they'll have to write a rather long syntax at the command prompt. e.g. ldapadd -x -D "cn=Manager,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com" -W -f [login to view URL] We'd like that syntax simplified to: useradd -n username -s servername -p privilege serveradd -s servername [Web GUI] Provide the 4 functions listed above, using a web GUI with a similar look and feel to the Open LDAP browser editor [login to view URL]~gawojar/ldap/ However, instead of being so generic, we would like our Web GUI to be more specific around our use cases. [API] We'd like these interfaces (Command Line, Web GUI) written against a common API. We want the user interfaces to share the same code that interfaces with LDAP.
