Hi, i can do it, and can start right now (already have script for auto thumbnails, just need to integrate it to your site). Its easy project, and i can finish it very fast. And, i would suggest creating thumbnails when image is uploaded, since doing it on the fly is waste of resources...

I can convert the page in php and initially for example there may appear 2 rows of images, on the page scroll 2 more rows will be appended there and so on...
