Chat client in Flash

I need someone experienced with Flash and Actionscripting to port an existing chat client from VB.net to Flash. The client must adhere to a strict protocol that is already in place. I will give all the specifications of this protocol to the winning bidder. It is a very simple text based TCP protocol, similar to telnet. If slight modifications need to be made to our server software then I will work with you on that. It would be helpful if you have experience in VB.net as this is the language the app is currently written in and will probably make it much easier to write the flash version. I can provide the current windows based client if you would like to see it in action. The flash client MUST meet the following requirements: 1) Must be able to download and play a WMA file from the server, this is used as a greeting and only needs to play once on connect. The file is encoded using a Windows Media 9 codec, is this going to be a problem? 2) Must be able to download and display a jpg file from the server, I know this is no big deal. 3) Both these file transfers and the actual chat session must take place on a single socket. 3) The UI needs to be pleasing and extreamly easy to use, even for someone who has little to no technical skills. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Flash, lowest version compatibility possible
