Cron Job Script

Script needs to install into WP version 1.5 or higher The script would be a clone of the following script with a couple of options added. <[login to view URL]> The first option to add would be the following. In the WP Admin on the Links --> Syndication tab when I enter a feed I want to also enter a category for the feed. This category would have already been entered on the Manage --> Categories link in the WP admin panel. To select this the existing categories would be displayed in a drop down menu. The second option would be on the Options --> Syndication tab in the WP admin panel. When the feeds are pulled from the sites those posts need to be put into the category that was specified when the feed was entered. Currently this script just puts the entries in any category that it wants to put it. For example I want enter a category on the Manage --> Categories page called "News". I then click on the Links --> Syndication and enter my URL in the box and select the "News" category from the drop down menu. Now when I run the URL to update my site I want all of those news items pulled from the RSS Link and posted in the "News" category. Currently this script works by point your web browser to a special link which pulls these entries. On the second option I just posted that as I assumed something would have to be edited in the code to make this work properly. To understand what I mean by this please download the script above and install it for yourself and mess around with it. I want the new script to function fully like the above mentioned script but with the 2 extra options that I have mentioned. The author of the script allows through a GNU license that the existing script can in fact be modified.
