We have a content management system that we use for editing an annual book, containing a number of chapters all with the same formatting. That CMS reads data from a database and outputs it either as HTML formatted text or monospaced text, which we turn over to a layout person for preparation.
What we're looking for is a program (or set of programs) than can be run from a Linux command prompt to take the HTML chapter files and export a PDF file similar to that in appearance of what we get from our layout person currently (PDF sample attached).
