Overview: Looking for someone who has the ability to work on the design and development of a native mobile application for iOS and Android. We like the look and UX of Flipboard regarding the reading content. There will be monthly releases of the publication and for that reason the client wants a simple and user friendly backend that they can upload content to. It would be nice to know if it would be possible to upload a pdf document that will translate into a readable format for the application. We would like to stress the importance of simplicity with regards to the backend, we want a new employee to be able to quickly learn how to use it. Features: • The main function is obviously the ability for the users to read the content and view the images. We like the manner in which Flipboard works with regards to the swiping up to turn the page. In order to remain unique it has been decided that swiping should replicate that of turning a page in a magazine so instead of swiping up the user will swipe from right to left. • The app will also be required to receive daily updates from our website. It still needs to be established whether this will be automated or whether we will update the content from the CMS. • We also want the ability to send push notifications to users whenever necessary.
