Android application and a service to run it at set intervals

Only applicants that have read through the description are considered. The app initially consists of 3 parts and is to be multilingual: 1. Settings & Configurations 2. Service/daemon to bring up the app in set intervals 3. App itself (consist's of button to settings and HTML5 canvas) 1. Settings allow for choosing content packages to be displayed in the app's html5 canvas (html files stored locally). It lists the packages you already have and allows for downloading new ones.(Payment for packages through google play store) Server side of things (like account linking and package management will be done later, first we need a working prototype) Interval for the app to run. Possibility to add password protection for the settings page access. Language selection (later development stage) 2. Service/daemon will be checking if the time for running the app has been reached 3. App itself should be an overlay-like app (as facebook messenger is) it will load a random html file from selected packages into the canvas area. Layout will probably not be one of android defaults. The html part should have a way of returning true value for the app to close, otherwise it will not be doable with html and we'll have to do everything with android api. The app should also pause whatever activity is running when launching. (android API allows for this in core) We'll be expecting the developer to have a good knowledge of android API, willingness to work in a team and good understanding of english. Please also state the expected development time required for this project. By the looks of it, it isn't a big development project, but might bring extra work later on.
