This project is to write 200 unique word problems for grade six students on Data Management and Probability topics.
50 to 100 of the questions should involve a graph typically seen at this age (bar, broken-line, pictograph, circle, etc.). The question can have students interpret data on an already prepared graph, or the question can ask students to use data given to construct a graph with some assistance (e.g. the axes can already be prepared).
The remainder of the questions will involve other data management and probability topics that don't involve graphs, but should include making or interpreting tally charts, surveys, tables, etc. or calculating probability or measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode).
Answers for all questions need to be provided. Answers will be calculated or written by the students using these questions (as opposed to choosing from a multiple choice list).
The preferred document format is OpenOffice formats, but others may be considered.
The successful freelancer must be willing to sign a copyright assignment agreement which will transfer the copyright on their unique work to this employer. Only open clipart, images, etc. may be used. In other words, nothing may be copied directly from elsewhere.
