Develop a Mac Application

I have an installation of Airtime by Sourcefabric set up on a Ubuntu server at home. I have port forwarding set up on the router the server is connected to to make the airtime admin panel and streams publicly accessible on the internet. I need help to get the Show and Master Input stream right, I have followed several forum posts but when trying to connect with Butt i get the error "Connect: Could not create network socket", or never ending "Connecting...". This is all I need to work out. I can connect directly to Icecast2 via port 8000 from a remote machine using Butt and the stream shows up on the icecast config page. [login to view URL]
