We are looking for someone to configure an Asterisk server for our company. I have outlined what we need below.
Hosting:
- We will install linux (preferably Debian) on a server in our rack, and ensure that it has network connectivity
- Asterisk needs to be installed and configured on it. Brief details on the dial plan are below.
External interfaces:
- Outbound calls to be handed off via a SIP trunk
- Inbound calls to be received via SIP, i.e. the external switch will end a SIP call to a specific extension on this new server
Call routing:
- 5 extensions will go straight into queues (first available agent, 20 second maximum wait before going to voicemail).
- 1 extension will present a single-level IVR, which will then route to the correct queue
Agents:
- Agents will use SIP phones (we already have these) which will register with Asterisk
Nice to have, but not essential:
- Agents can be linked to more than one queue
- Agents can be assigned to different queues via admin web interface
- New queues can be added/configured via admin web interface

Hello! I am a professional Asterisk systems consultant and integrator with five years experience in the field. I have reviewed your job description, and I am very interested in the project. Please see PM for bid details.
Hi,
This seems very interesting project, we would like to work for it.
Already we have done lots of vicidial installations, configurations and customizations.
So, please GIVE us a chance to serve.
I am the IT Manager of a ITSP provider, i am also the lead developer on the pbx system which uses an asterisk like dialplan.
In my line of work i have setup lots of callcenters with similar specifications and most of them with asterisk.
I am a US (west-coast) based Linux SysAdmin (prefer Debian & Ubuntu), with over a decade of experience. I've deployed Asterisk systems ranging from 2-person offices, ~20 line call-centers, and my largest deployment had over 120 phone numbers. I currently manage a number of Asterisk installations, and would be happy to setup this environment for you; using web-based tools that will, by the completion of this project, easily enable you to take over day-to-day management tasks.
