Hello, My name is Victor Glavan, I am working for a french company. At the moment we need someone that will help us calculate the frequency of an audio file in Java. The ideea is: - we have a software that analyses the human voice/speech (its' algorithm is in Java) - we need to calculate its' frequency expressed in Hz ( the pitch of the voice) in Java. Hello, I've done a similar work before as part of an application that identifies which music is playing. We can use FFT or auto-correlation, but I recommend the later as it gives more accurate results with voice samples. If you hire me I would deliver a fully commented class which receives an arrays representing PCM audio and returns the pitch of the sample. If you have a different interface spec, I would use it instead. It would take me two business days to finish the job and I require no upfront payment. Best regards, Diego

I have studied a master in Digital signal Processing, I know how to calculate the pitch, we need to program the fast fourier transform of a segment of the audio file to calculate the pitch. we can calculate the avergae of the file or you have to tell me what exactly you need. Furthermore, we need to make more calculations apart from FFT. I am new as a freelancer but, I know I can do this job.
