I have a wordpress site with a gallery. I would like to switch it over to a different gallery that is searchable by tags. NextGenGallery appears to be about the only choice but I am open to suggestions. The Gallery must be responsive, probably masonry style with lightbox (but I will consider other options). The main gallery page has 5 categories. I want to put a search box on that main page that can search all sub-galleries. Each sub gallery should also have the same search box (I think it is best if it searches in all galleries, not just the sub-gallery). Finally, I would also like to add a sidebar (the search box could be there) that only has a list of tags that I can define. When clicking on a link, it would basically run a tag search for that term and show the results as a new gallery of thumbnails. I'm willing to buy the plus version of NGG if necessary. I already have folders with the images on my site, you will need to transfer these pictures and get the new galleries running. Please let me know if you have any questions.
