About the business/what we do:
Small, family-run summer beach business providing sail [windsurf and catamaran lessons] and paddle sport activities as well as sunbed rental. We are based on the Med in the South of France, with a view of the Pyrenees from the beach!
Central Windsurf is the current name of the business. This may change in future to Central Watersports. However, for the moment we need to stick with what we have.
What we need:
A logo for the business taking into account the ‘new’ colours and font
Colour RGB CMYK HEX HSV
Blue 0,0,128 100,98,14,17 #000080 240°, 100%, 50%
Red 206,0,0 0,1,1,0 #CE0000 0°, 100%, 80.8%
White 255,255,255 0,0,0,0 #FFFFFF 0°, 0%, 100%
Font for company docs: Tahoma. We'd like a similar look for the logo font but shouldn't be exactly the same.
Please provide a couple of options for each of the requirements below:
• one focussed primarily on the wording: CW as per the current logo and replacing the flower with some other visual/icon
• one focussed primarily on an icon/visual – downplaying the CW of the current logo
• a watermark version of each logo that we could use on word/ppt documents
Style:
Modern, fresh and reflective of the nature of the business e.g. leisure/pleasure and ‘fun’
Simple but striking and not over stylised
What we will be using the logo on:
1. Website – banners and icon
2. Marketing printed materials [including magazine adverts, A5 flyers, giant banners and flags]
3. Staff uniforms
