Pickmylaundry is founded by the graduates of IIT Bombay and BHU after working for few years in multinational companies. Job Description: Create the technical aspects of the website based on requirements Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML themes. Organize the web content and databases Develop innovative, reusable web based tools for activism and community building Skills Required: Programing experience on PHP, ASP or JSP, code igniter Experience of working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL Self-starter with strong self-management skills Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Hi, I really liked the project description and the idea of the startup in general. Though this will be my first project as a freelancer, I have worked with some big companies and have sound in-depth knowledge and experinece of how a web based system actually works. I am from Computer Science background from a Tier-1 engineering college in India, having experience with PHP, Node.js, MySQL, Java. I have excelled in designing and developing web based software/ solutions in the organisations I worked. From the high-level overview that I got in the project description is that there will be some initial mocks provided by the graphic designer which needs to be transformed into the web pages. But if you find me capable enough for this project, I would like to set up a meeting to clarify the requirements as they are not crystal clear from the project description. My rough estimate for this project is around 20 days. Please feel free to reach me if you have any questions or would like to have a discussion.
