Converting Color Images into 3D Printer Ready Files

Our client creates 3D color prints of various images; example animals, portraits, nature scenery etc.. the client is interested in someone with excellent graphic design and artistic/visual creative skills Your bid amount is for the conversion of 20 color images into 3D printer ready files, for example if you bid $1000 for 20 images that means you are bidding $50 per image conversion 1. The printer prints images averaging 1.5 x 2.0 meters in size, your file should be delivered for that size print 2. The printer prints up to 16 layers by dispensing 0.1mm - 10 mm droplets that instantly cure, each layer ads 2mm - 5mm thickness to create a 3D effect with a maximum of 16 colors, each layer can only represent one color 3. The droplets are represented as circles on the conversions you supply, the 3D printer software interprets the droplets as location points to dispense the colors 4. Each layer can represent a different color, but no more than 16 colors per conversion which means that the original color image cannot be printed in more than 16 colors, you can select any color you like which is why the client prefers someone with artistic skills 5. For each conversion the client needs both the composite image (PSD and the original software you used) and a JPEG file showing the 0.1mm – 10mm circles representing the droplets, you can select any size droplet which is why the client prefers someone with artistic skills (again) 6. Each color you choose should have a designated Pantone number 7. You can use any software you like (vector based, illustrator, photoshop, etc.,) to create the conversion as long as you follow these guidelines: a. You must deliver the image in both the original software files and Photoshop files so that the client can make easy on-the-fly corrections of the size and locations of the droplets b. The droplets can be sized from 0.1mm – 10mm with maximum of 8 different size droplets per conversion 8. A separate milestone will be established for every image 9. You will receive the 20 original images (source images) in the form of color jpeg files 10. There can only be one large background color printed with a spray machine 11.
