creation of virtual character with emotions and context

You are bidding on phase 1 of the project as explained below but it is very beneficial to look at the future phases to make sure you can carry on with the work to completion, though I am open to having more than one provider. Payment/bid is on a phase by phase basis but I might combine future phases once we move forward: Phase 1: I am looking to design a dynamic avatar (3D rendered character) for a future experimental use within a disability rehabilitation program. I am thinking of something like the ones with Poser. This character will have to be human. Phase 2: I would like to extend the phase 1 by adding gender, age, ethnicity parameter to the character or alternatively providing multiple versions based on those parameters. Phase 3: Within a web based environment (Flash), I would like the user to be able to select his preferred character(from the ones above) and also control the facial expression and hand/head gestures. Controls for depth/strength of emotion and to move the hand/head etc.. will be part of the work. Phase 4: I would like to extend the work to add environment/context (places, backgrounds, something like what you see in second life to represent real life situations in which this character is immersed. Phase 5: I would like the system/solution to collect some data about user interaction with the character and other details to be specified.
