I am an author (Writing for 10 years, books, essays and technical papers), inventor (Check out my published books) and retired Master Mariner having served with the British Merchant Navy for 43 years, 25 of which in command as Captain. I have also been a Pilot in the dim and murky past and still have an unshakable passion for aviation and flying which is deeply embedded in most of my books. I started writing around 5 years ago but have only recently had my works published. I am an enthusiastic inventor and love nothing better than coming up with a crazy idea and trying to make it work, as readers of my books will find out. I love the challenge of making something work; even the craziest and most insane of ideas can be made to work if you think far enough out of the box. I also have a great love of the environment; particularly the oceans and I have been working on solutions for the impact of Tsunamis for a number of years now. Solutions; Tsunami Killer and Tsunami Blocker (Short Wave) are just around the corner waiting for me to develop them.
I am an expert in the use and development of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access as well as being a very competent programme developer using C++ and VB6.
My academic qualifications are in both Applied and Pure Mathematics and I specialise in both Practical and Theoretical Navigation (First Principles).
