I am trying to design a simple, variable, constant DC current source based on the LM334z. I have achieved this using a 4 position selector switch to change Rset, however I would prefer it if I could do the same thing using two buttons instead. Button 1 (up) pressed to select position 1,2,3,4 and button 2 (down) pressed to select 4,3,2,1. The circuit will be powered by a 9v battery. I would like to have 4 LEDs to indicate the position that has been selected. I have no idea whether this can be achieved so any feedback will be appreciated, thanks.
I am an Professional Engineer, I have strong expertise in it I have seen the requirements and understood it Please open chat window and discuss further, so to start and complete the project.

First of all tell me the range of current source means how much minimum and maximum current you require . Then we will discuss later on.
This project's duration will depend upon the work to be done. So I put maximum days in the bid. Depending on the dc current rating the bid can be low down.
I want to discuss further details.
Thanks

yes it is possible this is a pretty easy and simple job for me I will do this job in hours but still now I cant tell you how I will do that because that's the trik and I am gona earn from that I am bidding too low because I want to make my profile
Hi.
This task can be done using relays or MOSFETs. That's depend on how selector is using at now.
If you provide schematics then i will can set more accurate terms and select better method.
Hello bro, give me a draft about your idea and i'll try to design it for you with analog part only for easy testing and debugging. It's nice to work with you, have an awesome weekend hah :))
