I have a few App ideas that I would like to make and was wondering how I can protect my ideas before I give them to a developer to make. I would like to know how I can tell a developer about it without having him take my idea for him self or him turning off the app after I pay him. I was thinking of paying in %s so that if someone stops work on the idea I can stop pay on the project but freelancer didn't have that service. I need trust here and protection of my ideas.

Also sign a Non-Competition Agreement with him so that he does not compete or sell of your idea to someone else. Hi, How are you? I read your project description. You require someone to protect your Intellectual Property. This looks like it requires three key points: non-disclosure agreement, copyright protection and copyright assignment. Keep in mind though that an idea cannot be protected by a copyright without it being implemented or used in an artistic or a creative way. The best way you could do this is to write everything down. Even that is not a guarantee, however. We can protect your idea from being used by the developer through the contract however through a non-disclosure agreement.
