We are working on a video for a very important company which delivers their services to the oilfield in the Norwegian coast. They have one of their base in Kristiansund. We need some sort of animation where we can zoom from a platform in the Norwgian sea out so we can see aprox. half of Norway, then zoom back into Kristiansund. The whole purpose of this animation is to illustrate where the platforms in the Norwegian Sea are in corelation to Kristiansund. In the video we need some sort of illustration of a platform (platforms), map of norway (not so detaild) where we see the main cities, and a more detailed map of Kristiansund where the company have their base. Please, I would appreciate serious bidders which feel they are capable of completing this project. I need this project done by tomorrow evening Norwegian time (Sunday). If the bidder does not deliver within time I will not give any good feedback at all.

Hi Andre, my name is Alan and I can do this for you - good quality and on time but it'l cost you more than your budget. First of all, this is far from simple. It looks simple when you see it on tv but it requires a lot of work to get it looking that simple. You can't just use a simple image, zoom out from it and then back into it - you'd need an image with hundreds of thousands of pixels to do it like that and not many computers can handle such large images because they take up lot's of ram. You need to work with multiple images of various resolutions and blend them together at different stages of the zooming process - so that everything appears to be of the same resolution, you understand? I can do it but I'll have to stay up all night to get it done so my price for this is $500. I know it's a very short clip and that figure may seem outrageous for something so small but .... it's sort of outrageous of you to expect to get this done in such a short amount of time. Also, you're obviously under pressure with this client (Shell I assume) so I think $500 would be fair to please such a large client. It's a pity you're not online right now because the clock is ticking here and I'd like to know if I should get started on this or not. Let me know as soon as possible. I'm guessing you don't have to deliver this until Monday morning sometime? Well, realistically, it will take me maybe 18 hours to do the work and render the animation. I need more info too so if you can chat with me ..
