Hi Please find below my understanding of the project: 1. The code is already provided in c++. The code is server client architecture, where the client and server exchanges photographs and text strings with each other (with some user interaction I assume) 2. The code needs to be ported in java (as an android application) so that the android tablet can send the data to a windows server. 3. The interaction should be done on sockets and should follow the same intra communication protocol as being followed by the current application. Please let me know the following: 1. Do you want to port the server code in .net too or you are fine with c++ server itself there? 2. How will the user choose the images to be sent. WIll it be fetched from gallery or clicked runtime? 3. What is the kind of UI interface are we looking at? We have worked on a number of client server architecture codes including more advanced web sockets and already have the code for client server architecture, written and tested well for android devices, Thus the project should not take more than a couple days for delivery from the date of confirmation. I am very proficient in java. I have 12 years java developing experience. I have worked for 5 years, my work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, the language is java under linux OS, sometimes use c++ a little. So, programming in java is never a problem. I used java to make many great projects. For example, I made the tools which can convert PWScript(a script language created by our company) to c++ files.
