ASP code to extract data from a remote XML file & write it to a local XML file.

I need an ASP script to access a remote XML feed, extract the required data and write it out to 4 new, local XML files. When the script is called, it MUST check when it was last run (by reading the time & date stamp in the destination XML file). If the remote XML file was called less than 30 minutes prior, it MUST NOT access the remote XML file. 3 of the 4 XML files to be created will contain 4 items of data, carried straight over from the source XML file. The last XML file will contain 12 items of data, which will simple calculations. I will explain the calculations when required to. That is it. A nice simple ASP project that shouldn’t take more than a hour or two to complete.
